Drench your skin in the most powerful moisture and humectant known. Add hyaluronic acid serum to your skincare routine. It deeply hydrates and plumps skin to diminish fine lines and wrinkles. The Hyaluronic Acid is what makes young skin look smooth, soft, and resilient. As we age, we lose Hyaluronic Acid, resulting in dull skin, decreased elasticity, wrinkles, and lines. To compliment the serum, extra moisture is added with hydrating glycerin and silk peptides.
Hyaluronic acid – Is a natural compound found in skin that has many important functions, including holding in moisture, providing cushioning, aiding in tissue repair, holding together the skin structural components collagen, elastin, and helping to create a protective barrier against microorganisms
This science-based magic lies in hyaluronic acid’s ability to replenish moisture, a lot of moisture! One gram (0.03 ounce) of hyaluronic acid can hold up to six liters of water. Isn’t that amazing? Hyaluronic Acid is a substance that is naturally present in the human body. The highest concentration of hyaluronic acid is found in the eyes and joints.
Low molecular weight, pure, Hyaluronic acid is used in this serum. It has smaller molecules than regular hyaluronic acid, which are considerably larger. Making hyaluronic acid smaller means it can reach a deeper into your epidermis layer of skin for visibly enhanced results. A low molecular weight hyaluronic acid is the best anti-aging serum for plumping your skin, adding more definition, and giving your skin intense hydration.
Vegetable Glycerin – It provides softening and lubricating benefits.
Silk Peptides – Consists of 18 silk amino acids. It has a low molecular weight allowing it to be completely water soluble and have excellent permeability. In formulations, the silk protein provides moisture balance, which results in a silky and smooth feel to the skin.
Germall Plus Liquid – INCI: Propylene Glycol (and) Diazolidinyl Urea (and) Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate is a water-soluble preservative that is very effective at preventing the growth of negative bacteria, molds, fungus, yeasts and commonly found organisms. Liquid Germall Plus works well at inhibiting the growth of these organisms at extremely low concentrations.
I use this preservative in all my products that contain any water or will encounter water. Once water is introduced to the ingredients, lovely nasties will occur. Don’t be fooled by other products stating no preservatives are used in water containing products. A product needs a broad-spectrum preservative, not an anti-oxidant like vitamin E, grapefruit seed and rosemary extract. Oxidation of oils and butters leads to rancidity and anti-oxidants slow down this process. These anti-oxidants do not prevent bacteria, yeast, or mold from spoiling your product. I don’t want to risk getting any skin infections by using a product that contains a “natural preservative”. If something is natural, it will break down. So How can a “natural preservative” prevent the breakdown of a natural product? The amount of Germall Plus used in any skin care recipe is .01 to .05% of the total weight of the recipe. It is considered safe when used at the suggested levels by many different government organization
How to Use: Apply a few drops, twice daily to clean damp skin, then apply moisturizer. Can be added directly to your moisturizer or your liquid foundation.
